Spilled Ink
What if you have spilled ink on your office carpet? Well, rubbing alcohol works best (especially if it is 90% isopropyl alcohol). Apply the substance to a cotton cloth or something similar. Dab (don't rub!) the stain. After a few minutes, use a small vacuum cleaner to suck out the stain.

Removing Blood
Blood binds to a fabric or surface more quickly when heat is applied, so be sure to use cold water to attempt a blood-stain removal. With blood the key is rapid-response. The longer you leave a blood stain the more it will set. If any of the stain remains after attempting to extract it with cold water, try using a small amount of dishwashing detergent in a cup of cold water to bring it out. Be careful though, if you rub the affected area too hard you might spread the stain or even damage your carpets' fabric.

Removing Coffee Stain From Carpet
First up, blot the area with a clean, white cloth to absorb all the liquid you can. Blot from the outside of the stain in to avoid spreading the stain. Then….
- Mix 1 teaspoon clear, mild liquid dish washing detergent with 1 cup lukewarm water.
- Sponge the area with the detergent solution. Blot again with a clean, white cloth.
- Mix 1/3 cup white vinegar with 2/3 cup lukewarm water.
- Sponge the area with the vinegar solution. Blot with a clean, white cloth.
- Sponge the area with clean water. Blot with a clean, white cloth.

Pizza stains in the carpet
If you've ever worked back late in the office, at some stage someone will always order a pizza. Here's the best way to remove pizza stains from the carpet when the inevitable happens:
- Mix together the water, dishwashing liquid and peroxide.
- Soak a clean, white cloth in the solution.
- Rub the cloth over the pizza stain repeatedly until the stain is gone. If the stain is on a piece of clothing, you can rub the stain until it is mostly gone, and then continue to the next step.
